Glen Alpine Creek, Tahoe Ca

John and I were briefly talking about how it's good to sometimes go back and take a second look at images that may have gotten stored away or forgotten. So this post and the next four have reemerged straight from the archives. This is the river that flows into Fallen Leaf Lake in Tahoe California. Went there on a family event and was able to sneak away for a bit to share this with you.

This is a nice shot and a great subject. I didn't know about these falls, but of course do know the lake. How far from a place to park are these falls? Very nice image.

Thanks, Bob. I definitely want to go back and try some other things. It's not that far at all. You would take the 50 to the 89, go right around to about camp richardson and take a left on fallen leaf rd. It's goes around to the south end of fallen leaf lake and you can't miss it.
