Made this image on a camping trip at Grey's Mountain just after the thunderstorm had cleared. John O'Connor was also there, and i'm sure he has some amazing shots you might see soon. A nice day day and a good rinse! sorry about your shoes pat!
The idea of capturing fleeting moments, whether they are human elements or the solitude of the natural world has always resonated deeply within me. A feeling or quality of light can only last so long before the harmony changes and something is new again. So it has been my interest to look past the literal and share my emotions through these images. I can’t deny there is beauty all around us even in the most depleted and haggard areas of the city streets, there is something to be created or admired anywhere. Photography has been the building block in my visual life, it has inspired me to explore different art forms and appreciate the ever-evolving landscape. With accomplishments in music, cinematography and graphic design, making a strong photograph is above all when it comes to the passion I feel a connection with the most. For the last 12 years I have had the pleasure of studying my attachment to this planet through the lens. There has always been a need to understand nature, with understanding comes progression in the craft and progression offers these visual gifts as my thanks. By simply paying attention, it can be the greatest show on earth and that is something that should be preserved.
